Face of Encouragement

I just wanted to share with you the face of encouragement! Brent has been such an encouragement to me as we go through our journey. I am very proud of him and the way he has let God use him in our marriage, family and the lives of others. He has been an example of one who Paul talks about in Romans:

"And so, dear bothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing his perfect will really is."
Romans 12:1-2

It isn't about being perfect. We are always going to make mistakes. It is about letting God transform us. That act alone is amazing. It isn't just a face lift, it is a soul lift that makes us more like Him.
