I have been so discouraged this week. Nothing in particular, exactly, just downright wondering how God can possibly work out all of the details in my little life. This piece is from Yoko Ono. I love it because you look at it and think... Huh? I like something that makes me think. I realize that half of the time I really am not in the place that I think I am. I can get discouraged, but over what? There was a time that today would have been something I dreamed of being in, that I would have been so content to enjoy, yet I stand here discouraged...
II Chronicles 20:17
" You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.' "
