The Extra Mile

This photo is of the boys on a recent trip to Disney World. Dakota wanted to see the characters, so we all stood in the line to meet them (boys included). Of course we all thought we were there for Dakota, but instead when it came time to meet and greet the characters she was in terror and would not move. Daisy Duck insisted that the boys come see her and made Tyler give her a kiss. (The picture is the exact moment afterwards. Could Wesley and Colton be standing any further away?)

I am reminded that sometimes we are called to go out of our comfort zone for others. We cannot always plan how or where God is going to call us to serve. It can be at the most unexpected moment. Loving others requires being willing to do what is required to serve someone besides ourselves.

Romans 14:17-19

" For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up."
