Big Dreams

Sometimes God gives big dreams to us. The dream of accomplishment is a hard one to ignore. Brent and I have had a big dream on our heart regarding ministry. God put it in both of our minds separately and we both came to each other with the same vision. What can you say to that? The problem is, physically, finanically and emotionally, we don't have the resources right now to make it happen. Brent continually reminds me that God has an endless supply of all resources. If he wants something to be, he will make it happen.

Of course in this day, we do not have the same kind of visions as they did in the Bible. Daniel was the official "vision boy" of the Bible. I do not know if he ever got a good night's rest! What a job he had receiving direct revelation from God and delivering others the news whether good or bad.

Daniel 2:18-20
" He urged them to ask the God of heaven to show them his mercy by telling them the secret, so they would not be executed along with the other wise men of Babylon. That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. He said,
“Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power."
